magnus reneflot fotografiske høydepunkter 2011 januar

I år skal jeg legge ut en blogg med hva jeg anser som mine fotografiske høydepunkt for hver måned.

Januar har vært en usedvanlig fotogen måned.
Jeg har vært veldig aktiv. Det har vært kaldt og stabilt vintervær med mye tåke og frost og motivene har stått i kø. Det har ikke vært vanskelig å komme seg ut til tross for at tær og fingre til tider har vært som ispinner.
Det er historie, det samme er timene foran macen med utvelgelse og etterbehandling av mer eller mindre vellykkede fotografiiske øyeblikk. Jeg har hatt en fin måned , håper februar blir like fin.

The series is from Auschwitz "Anette Skuggedal"

Life Stories

The series is from Auschwitz....they are all titled as quotes made by Anne Frank. 

The family was taken to Auschwitz,  after they were found in hiding in Amsterdam.

As a family they were split upon arrival,  the men from the woman.... 

later Anne & her sister Margot were sent to Bergen-Belsen where they both died.

 Anne Frank died of typhus only weeks before the British liberated the camp. 

The only survivor was her father, Otto Frank.

Auschwitz - Birkenau...death camps that still stand to remind us of the atrocities in life.. 

atrocities that we are supposed to learn from...do we?
